Global Health Sciences serves as an interdisciplinary hub for coordinating UC Davis wide projects, curriculum, service, research, and training as they relate to global health.  The goal of Global Health Sciences is to become the epicenter where academic, industry and healthcare leaders turn when they have a need for multidisciplinary, high-quality, practical solutions or expertise to solve challenges of global health importance.

UC Davis is well-positioned to play a leadership role in creating solutions to the world’s global health challenges.  We have a broad approach intended to improve health through a tradition of working collaboratively across multiple disciplines in education, service and research/discovery.  Our vision of health recognizes the interconnectedness of people, animals and the environment and aims to identify and address the fundamental causes of poor health to improve the well-being of all.
