UC Global Health Institute

The system-wide global health initiative, known as the UC Global Health Institute (UCGHI) capitalizes on the vast range of global health minded faculty across the ten campuses. In addressing global health challenges, the UCGHI created three interdisciplinary Centers of Expertise across campuses. Migration and Health

One Health: Water, Animals, Food, and Society

UC Davis and UC Riverside are partnered in a collaborative educational Center of Expertise, "One Health: Water, Animals, Food, and Society."  Patricia Conrad of the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine co-directs with UC Riverside economist Anil Deolalikar. Women's Health and Empowerment

UC San Francisco and UC Los Angeles are partnered in a collaborative educational Center of Expertise, "Women's Health and Empowerment." The Center co-directors are Craig Cohen from the UCSF Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences and Paula Tavrow, Director of UCLA's Bixby Program in Population and Reproductive Health.
